Scientific Communications Specialist – Hyderabad (Hybrid)

Job Summary

Novartis is seeking a Scientific Communications Specialist to support its Scientific Writing team in Hyderabad. This role ensures seamless project management across medical education and publication content, helping the team deliver high-quality, compliant scientific outputs. If you have a background in life sciences and experience in medical communications or pharma project support, this opportunity could be the next step in your career.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end project delivery for publications and medical education materials

  • Assist in developing scope of work, timelines, and scheduling meetings

  • Track deliverables, manage risks, and coordinate follow-ups

  • Support submission, compliance, and approval workflows in accordance with Novartis processes

  • Handle external vendor tracking (POs, approvals, goods receipt)

  • Update internal systems such as Datavision and compliance tools

  • Facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders

  • Contribute to workflow improvement for scientific content development


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Science; postgraduate preferred

  • 1–2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or medical communication industry

  • Prior exposure to project management tools or training

  • Strong organizational, tracking, and coordination skills

  • Familiarity with publication and compliance management systems (e.g., Datavision, FUSE) is a plus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
