About the Role
Labcorp is seeking a Sample Information Coordinator I to support the study setup process and manage study samples. This entry-level role involves assisting the Study Director, Principal Investigator, and Study Coordinator in preparing and checking demographic data, managing sample-related documentation, and ensuring accurate records in the LIMS system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Study Director (SD), Principal Investigator (PI), and Study Coordinator (SC) in study setup related to study samples.

  • Prepare and check demographic import files, and coordinate the preparation of tube labels.

  • Ensure accurate protocol interpretation and update the LIMS system with expected samples.

  • Perform checks on demographic data for study samples to confirm consistency between tube labels, LIMS system, and supplied paperwork.

  • Resolve discrepancies, confirming and correcting any anomalies in the LIMS system.

  • Monitor sample logging schedules to ensure timely preparation for sample analysis.

  • Support the sample reconciliation process.

  • Maintain well-organized and up-to-date study files with respect to sample paperwork and inventories.

  • Communicate with clients as necessary.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in sample data.

  • Strong organizational skills for managing and maintaining study files and inventories.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
