Role Overview:

The Manager Compliance is responsible for the oversight of regulatory compliance processes and awareness initiatives. The role involves monitoring changes to laws and regulations, implementing compliance frameworks, conducting investigations, and promoting adherence to the company’s code of conduct, legal requirements, and contractual obligations.


Key Responsibilities:

Investigations & Reviews

  • Lead and manage compliance investigations, including data analysis, witness/subject interviews, and detailed investigation reports.

  • Oversee operational matters and conduct sensitive operational reviews, ensuring confidentiality and integrity.

Process Development & Training

  • Drive cross-functional compliance-related initiatives focused on process development and training.

  • Collaborate with the Compliance & Ethics team to develop and deliver training on policies, procedures, and high-risk topics.

  • Monitor and manage training completion across the region.

Compliance Monitoring & Risk Management

  • Implement and maintain effective compliance controls, including periodic reporting to stakeholders.

  • Identify, assess, and resolve compliance risks while providing strategic guidance to prevent future issues.

  • Support identification and monitoring of Ethics & Compliance Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).

  • Stay updated on regulatory changes to ensure proactive compliance.

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Provide updates to business, legal, and senior leadership stakeholders.

  • Ensure effective functioning of compliance processes and contribute to organizational improvements.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support compliance objectives.

Policy Adherence

  • Comply with employment contract terms, company policies, and directives (e.g., transfers, reassignments, work shifts, flexible arrangements).

  • Adapt to evolving business requirements as policies may change at management’s discretion.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational training.

  • Compliance certification (internal or external).

  • 8+ years of work experience in compliance, regulatory, or risk consulting.

  • Strong expertise in:

    • Compliance frameworks

    • Risk consulting

    • Anti-corruption monitoring

    • Investigations

    • Training & communication

  • Solid legal/compliance research skills.

  • Proven written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate across teams and organizational levels.
