About the Role:
Join one of the world’s leading Clinical Research Organizations with a focus on early-phase clinical trials. We are seeking Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Paramedics to deliver high-quality patient care while supporting clinical research protocols. This on-site position in Madison, WI offers exposure to a wide variety of therapeutic areas and study designs, including first-in-human trials, ascending dose studies, food effect studies, and drug-drug interaction studies.

This role allows you to work directly with healthy volunteer participants, maintain and enhance your clinical skills, and contribute to the development of innovative medical therapies that have a global impact.


Shift Options:

  • Straight Night Shift / Weekdays Only: 12 hours (6 PM – 6 AM)

  • Straight Night Shift / Weekdays Only: 8 hours (11 PM – 7 AM)

  • Straight Night Shift / Weekends Only: 12 hours (6 PM – 6 AM)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical care following study protocols using your skills, knowledge, and professional judgment

  • Perform accurate vital signs measurements, including blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate, temperature, weight, and venipuncture

  • Prepare, record, and monitor ECGs and Holter data

  • Collect and process biological samples and ensure proper distribution as per protocol

  • Monitor participant meals for dietary compliance

  • Assist in preparation of clinical rooms and equipment

  • Support participant screening procedures

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient study environment

  • Complete additional duties as assigned


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • EMT, Phlebotomy, CMA, or CNA certification preferred

  • Paramedics must hold active certification

  • 0–1 year of related clinical experience

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, team-oriented, technology-driven environments

  • Strong adaptability to changing priorities and ability to meet strict protocol timelines


Physical & Work Requirements:

  • Ability to work upright or stationary for 6–8 hours per day

  • Repetitive hand movements to operate laboratory equipment

  • Occasional crouching, stooping, bending, or twisting

  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 15–20 lbs

  • Varied hours may be required
