Position Overview:

Bridging Care is seeking a Remote Grant Writer & Program Developer to establish and lead our grant writing program. This role offers the unique opportunity to build a grants strategy from the ground up, ensuring the sustainability of our mission through impactful funding opportunities. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, strategic thinker with a proven track record of securing grants, especially in healthcare and social services.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Development: Design and implement a comprehensive grant writing strategy aligned with Bridging Care's goals.
  • Grant Research & Writing: Identify, research, and pursue new funding opportunities. Draft, submit, and follow up on high-quality proposals.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and prospective funders and partners.
  • Data Management: Develop and manage systems to track proposals, deadlines, and reporting requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven success in securing diverse grants, preferably in healthcare, social services, or non-profit sectors.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines independently.
  • Familiarity: Experience in health or social service sectors, particularly related to healthcare access and community health, is a plus.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling, persuasive proposals.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Public Health, or related field preferred, though equivalent experience is also acceptable.
  • Autonomy: Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
