Job Summary
As a Regional Medical Advisor (RMA) – Oncology, you will serve as the primary scientific face of Dr. Reddy’s to key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals in the assigned therapy area and geography.
You will be responsible for scientific engagement, medical education, insights generation, and execution of medical affairs strategies in alignment with business objectives and compliance standards.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Scientific & Strategic Leadership
Act as the scientific expert for the Oncology therapeutic area, facilitating evidence-based discussions with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare stakeholders.
Lead the execution of the Medical Affairs Strategic Plan, including medical education, product training, advisory boards, pre-license activities, and medical evidence generation.
Collaborate with therapy area leads to identify knowledge gaps and develop medical action plans addressing education, data, and evidence needs.
Conduct disease trend and treatment pattern analyses and contribute to annual strategy development.
Support new product ideation and development by identifying unmet medical needs through active engagement with thought leaders.
Stakeholder Engagement
Identify, map, and maintain strong relationships with key thought leaders and specialists across the assigned geography.
Represent Dr. Reddy’s at internal and external scientific platforms, conferences, and symposia.
Handle proactive and reactive scientific discussions related to company products and disease management.
Gather and communicate medical insights from the field to therapy area and commercial teams to support strategic decision-making.
Scientific Communication & Publications
Collaborate with thought leaders to develop and publish therapy-specific reviews, meta-analyses, case studies, and patient-reported outcomes in reputable journals.
Respond to scientific information requests from healthcare professionals promptly and accurately.
Ensure timely and compliant approval of promotional, physician, and patient education materials as per internal approval policies.
Training & Knowledge Dissemination
Develop and deliver scientific training programs for sales and marketing teams to ensure current and accurate medical knowledge dissemination.
Ensure the flow of the latest medical developments and research trends to internal stakeholders.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure all activities are conducted in strict adherence to Dr. Reddy’s Code of Business Ethics (COBE) and compliance guidelines.
Maintain high ethical standards in all medical and scientific interactions.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
MBBS with a full-time postgraduate qualification (minimum 2 years) in any medical discipline OR
MBBS with an MBA from a reputed institute.
Experience
Fresh postgraduate or up to 2 years of experience in field-based medical affairs.

Technical Skills
Strong academic background and in-depth knowledge of the Oncology therapeutic area.
Proficiency in medical research methodologies and interpretation of scientific data.
Excellent scientific acumen and communication skills for peer-to-peer interactions.
