Job Summary

The Regional Medical Advisor (RMA) serves as the primary scientific face of the organization to thought leaders, physicians, and healthcare professionals within the assigned therapy area and geography.
This role involves scientific engagement, evidence generation, and strategic support for medical and commercial teams to drive optimal patient outcomes and product differentiation.


Key Responsibilities

Medical Affairs & Strategic Planning

  • Execute the regional Medical Affairs Plan in alignment with therapy area strategy.

  • Identify, map, and engage Key Thought Leaders (KOLs) for scientific and strategic collaborations.

  • Develop and execute medical education, evidence generation, and advisory board initiatives.

  • Provide strategic medical input to marketing, clinical, and regulatory teams.

  • Contribute to the Annual Medical Affairs Strategy Plan through insights and data-driven recommendations.

Scientific & Clinical Engagement

  • Serve as a therapy area scientific expert, engaging in proactive and reactive discussions with HCPs.

  • Communicate clinical data, treatment trends, and product insights to healthcare professionals.

  • Respond to scientific information requests in compliance with company standards.

  • Represent Dr. Reddy’s at scientific meetings, conferences, and symposia.

Evidence Generation & Publication

  • Collaborate with KOLs to conduct and publish reviews, meta-analyses, case studies, case series, and patient-reported outcomes.

  • Identify and address knowledge, practice, and data gaps through evidence-based initiatives.

  • Support pre-license activities and participate in new product ideation and differentiation projects.

Training & Internal Collaboration

  • Develop and implement medical training programs for sales and marketing teams to enhance scientific understanding.

  • Partner with therapy area leads to deliver impactful medical communications and insights.

  • Ensure compliance with Code of Business Ethics (COBE) and promotional material approval policies.

  • Support cross-functional alignment between medical, regulatory, and commercial teams.


Qualifications

Education:

  • MBBS with a full-time postgraduate qualification (minimum 2 years) in any medical discipline OR

  • MBBS with MBA from a reputed institution.

Experience:

  • Fresh postgraduates or professionals with up to 2 years of experience in field-based Medical Affairs.
