Job Summary:
The Quality Analyst will ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of print and digital outputs through meticulous proofreading, technical validation, and compliance with quality standards. This role involves handling multiple projects, coordinating with creative teams, and ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Proofreading & Quality Check:
Perform character-to-character proofreading of final output files against the script
Ensure all graphics, logos, icons, and colors are correctly placed as per the script
Fill and maintain checklists by cross-checking files and uploading to the SVN server
Create consolidated bug reports via iExtract/Redmine and share with the creative team for corrections
Acknowledge signoff emails to Project Managers when no changes are required
Complete random sampling checks across all languages
Act as backup or supervisor when team members are on leave
Project Management & Coordination:
Handle multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to standard procedures and timelines
Review task templates and release note emails for each project
Update SVN links to review amendments (IFF comments)
Close tasks through Mysheet, Jira, or other tracking tools
Notify Team Lead if additional pages are required in advance
Communication:
Clarify queries with Team Lead, Seniors, Mentor, or Buddy
Send signoff emails immediately after task completion, copying relevant leads
Quality Management & Compliance:
Maintain quality, confidentiality, and security standards
Adhere to quality systems, processes, guidelines, and policies
Follow project-specific instructions
Ensure scope of proofreading and quality checks covers all assigned languages
Must-Have Skills & Competencies:
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in proofreading
Basic understanding of scientific, technical, and medical terminology
Knowledge of printing technology, including processes, materials, and equipment
Strong comprehension skills to implement comments and feedback accurately
Strong organizational and project management skills
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Good to Have:
Experience working with global teams
Familiarity with quality management tools and bug reporting platforms
