Role Summary:

As a Project Coordinator, you will play a critical role in driving the execution of global and regional projects within a complex, cross-functional environment. This position supports multiple teams and stakeholders to ensure that strategic initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with operational excellence. From managing timelines and cross-functional collaboration to reporting and risk mitigation, this role is essential to achieving Amgen’s mission and corporate priorities.


Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination:

  • Create, update, and track detailed project plans, status reports, and schedules.

  • Organize and support meetings, workshops, and steering committees across international time zones.

  • Monitor progress, milestones, risks, and interdependencies to keep projects on track.

Operational & Administrative Support:

  • Document and streamline core business processes.

  • Maintain dashboards and KPIs; monitor and report trends and discrepancies.

  • Support procurement and compliance processes, vendor coordination, and records maintenance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Liaise with departments such as Finance, Legal, IT, and HR to support project needs.

  • Facilitate communication and coordination between regional offices and cross-cultural teams.

  • Deliver clear, concise updates and communications to stakeholders at various levels.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Analyze project data and present insights to inform leadership decisions.

  • Prepare executive-level reports and presentations.

  • Monitor budget spending and flag deviations proactively.

Risk & Issue Management:

  • Proactively identify, log, and mitigate project risks and issues.

  • Follow through to ensure accountability and resolution.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Project Management, or related field.

  • 3–4 years of hands-on project coordination experience in a global, corporate setting.

  • Adaptability: Thrives in fast-paced, ever-changing global environments.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cross-cultural teams and multi-time zone collaboration.

  • PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, or Lean Six Sigma certification.

  • History of delivering cost-saving initiatives or process improvements.

  • Comfort with presenting to senior leadership and facilitating workshops.


Estimated Salary: ₹12–18 LPA (based on role scope and industry benchmarks)
