Role Responsibilities
Develop and review medical affairs content, including abstracts, manuscripts, congress posters/presentations, graphical abstracts, systematic literature reviews, plain language summaries, slide decks, medical education resources, social media content, infographics, videos, multimedia, and other external-facing content for assigned areas/products.
Independently write and develop drafts, including research, organization, compilation, interpretation, and quality checks of medical/technical information with minimal reviewer support.
Review drafts created by other team members for clarity, accuracy, appropriateness for target audiences, and alignment with applicable guidelines and internal standards.
Train and mentor team members on writing processes, adherence to quality standards, and product-specific communication requirements.
Serve as a functional expert for assigned products/therapeutic areas.
Provide solutions for projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Graphics, Compliance, Statistics, etc.).
Maintain independent and open communication with authors and stakeholders.
Ensure all deliverables meet timelines, quality, and compliance requirements.
Train on and implement relevant tools/processes, including generative AI platforms, to support efficient content execution.
Track project progress, identify/resolve issues with guidance from Senior Manager/Team Lead.
Become an expert in one new tool/skill for content creation aligned with industry trends and share knowledge across the MCCS team.
Basic Qualifications
Advanced scientific degree: MRes, MPharm, MSc, PhD, PharmD, MBBS/MD, MPH.
5+ years of experience in writing/developing medical content within pharma, CRO, biotech, or academia.
Proven ability to lead and execute projects end-to-end.
Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse stakeholders across cultures/regions.
Effective English communication (verbal and written) tailored to different audiences.
Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently and collaborate with stakeholders.
Understanding of technology applications in medical content development.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in creating and developing medical content.
ISMPP-CMPP® certification.
Experience with multimedia and omnichannel content.
Rapid adaptability to digital content and new technology.
Global work or educational experience.
