Job Summary:

Medtronic, a global leader in healthcare technology, is hiring a Principal Medical Science Liaison to drive scientific exchange and foster strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) across Latin America. This remote role is ideal for experienced medical professionals who wish to influence regional medical strategy, contribute to clinical excellence, and impact patient outcomes through innovative healthcare solutions. The role offers leadership opportunities in scientific communication without direct managerial responsibility and requires travel within the Latin America region.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with KOLs, medical groups, government agencies, and healthcare systems.

  • Communicate clinical outcomes and product benefits to investigators and institutions.

  • Conduct workshops, seminars, and scientific programs for healthcare professionals (HCPs).

  • Lead and coordinate regional medical initiatives and propose strategic solutions for growth.

  • Demonstrate expertise in clinical and scientific data, maintaining strong knowledge of Medtronic’s product portfolio.

  • Guide, coach, and train peers and colleagues on scientific and clinical matters.

  • Provide expert insights and support to scientific societies and regulatory bodies.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Medicine (MD or equivalent).

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience, or 5 years with an advanced degree.

  • Proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken); native Portuguese speaker.

  • Strong understanding of Neurovascular and Neuromodulation fields (highly desirable).

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.

  • Willingness to travel across Latin America as required.
