Phlebotomist
Location: Client Office, Atlanta, GA
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)
Status: Full-Time, 40 hours per week

As a Phlebotomist, you'll deliver exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and represent Labcorp to our clients. This position also offers opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all age groups.
  • Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and more.
  • Accurately input patient information into data systems.
  • Process billing and collect payments as necessary.
  • Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
  • Maintain detailed logs of patient and specimen information.
  • Provide superior customer service to patients.
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.
  • Travel to additional locations when required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency (preferred).
  • Previous experience as a phlebotomist.
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable transportation and a clean driving record (if applicable).
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Must pass a standardized color blindness test.
