As a Phlebotomist, you will provide exceptional patient care, perform skilled specimen collections, and represent Labcorp as the face of the company.

This role provides hands-on clinical experience, opportunities for professional growth, and eligibility for the PST Incentive Plan (quarterly performance-based bonus).


🕒 Work Schedule

  • Friday: 7:30 AM – 6:30 PM

  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

  • Sunday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

This position is weekend-focused.


💼 Key Responsibilities

🩺 Specimen Collection

  • Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.

  • Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.

💻 Data & Record Management

  • Enter patient information accurately and timely.

  • Process billing information and collect payments when required.

  • Maintain patient and specimen logs for compliance.

🧪 Laboratory Support

  • Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.

  • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and documentation.

💬 Customer Service & Administration

  • Provide superior customer service to all patients.

  • Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.

  • Travel to additional collection sites when required.


🎓 Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Certification: Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency (preferred).

  • Experience: Previous phlebotomy experience required.

Skills & Competencies

  • Proven customer service excellence.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment.

  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision.

  • Reliable transportation and clean driving record (if applicable).

  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

  • Must pass a standardized color blindness test.
