🕒 Work Schedule

  • Monday – Friday: Scheduled hours vary between 6:00 AM – 8:00 PM

  • Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Float Incentive: Additional $2.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement

Work Locations: Aurora, Joliet, Bolingbrook, Romeoville, Plainfield, Sandwich, Elgin, Carol Stream, Villa Park, and Bensenville, IL


💰 Pay Range

$17.50 – $24.00 per hour

Pay depends on skills, experience, certifications, and internal equity.
PSTs may participate in the PST Incentive Plan (quarterly performance bonus).


💼 Key Responsibilities

  • Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups

  • Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.

  • Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information

  • Process billing information and collect payments as required

  • Prepare specimens for testing and analysis

  • Maintain patient and specimen logs

  • Provide superior customer service to all patients

  • Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed

  • Travel to additional sites when required


🎓 Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency or prior phlebotomy experience

  • Valid Driver's License and good driving record

  • Must be at least 21 years old

  • Minimum 2 years phlebotomy experience preferred

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

  • Proven track record in exceptional customer service

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment

  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision

  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed

  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
