Phlebotomist
Location: Client Office, Columbia, MD
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Saturdays as assigned
Pay Range: $15.00 - $26.00 per hour (based on skills, experience, certifications, and market data)

This role involves skilled specimen collection, exceptional customer service, and opportunities for professional growth within the organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
  • Collect specimens for drug screenings, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and more.
  • Accurately perform data entry of patient information.
  • Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
  • Prepare and handle specimens for testing and analysis.
  • Maintain detailed logs for patient and specimen information.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to patients.
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.
  • Travel to additional locations as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency (preferred).
  • 2 years of phlebotomy experience (preferred).
  • Proven track record in delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
  • Reliable transportation and a clean driving record (if applicable).
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
