Role Overview:
The Pharmacovigilance Services Associate will support the monitoring, assessment, and reporting of adverse events related to pharmaceutical products. This entry-level role provides hands-on experience in case processing, safety database management, and regulatory compliance, making it ideal for early-career professionals in pharmacovigilance.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and manage case identification, data entry, and MedDRA coding for Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs).
Process, review, and submit ICSRs in compliance with client guidelines and global regulatory requirements.
Conduct follow-ups on pending cases to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Adhere to global pharmacovigilance standards, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and internal SOPs.
Collaborate within the PV team and report to direct supervisors for guidance and feedback.
Work on rotational shifts as required to maintain continuous pharmacovigilance coverage.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences.
0–2 years of experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety operations.
Knowledge of MedDRA coding and pharmacovigilance database systems is preferred.
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to follow detailed instructions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
