Job Summary

Accenture is hiring a Pharmacovigilance Services New Associate for its Life Sciences R&D vertical in Bengaluru. This entry-level position is perfect for fresh graduates in BSc or B.Pharmacy looking to build a career in Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety Surveillance. The role involves case processing, MedDRA coding, data entry, and ICSR management as per global regulatory guidelines. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage case identification, data entry, and MedDRA coding for ICSRs in the safety database.

  • Process and submit safety cases, including follow-ups, as per client and regulatory requirements.

  • Perform reconciliation of reports and manage Affiliate Mailbox operations.

  • Conduct written follow-up attempts for both serious and non-serious cases.

  • Ensure compliance with global pharmacovigilance and drug safety regulations.

  • Solve routine problems using established guidelines and SOPs.

  • Collaborate within the team under close supervision to meet process standards.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • BSc or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree.

  • 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in Pharmacovigilance or Drug Safety.

  • Proficiency in English (International level).

  • Knowledge of Pharmacovigilance operations, ICSR handling, and MedDRA coding (preferred).

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and documentation skills.

  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts as required.
