Role Overview

As a Pharmacovigilance Services Associate, you will be aligned with Accenture’s Life Sciences R&D vertical, contributing to services that span the entire life sciences value chain — from research labs and clinical trials support to regulatory and pharmacovigilance operations.

You will support pharmacovigilance and patient safety operations by managing adverse event reporting and case processing as per global regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Affiliate Mailbox and perform report reconciliation.

  • Perform case identification, data entry, MedDRA coding, and case processing for ICSRs in the safety database.

  • Handle both serious and non-serious adverse event reports.

  • Prepare and manage case submissions and follow-ups as per client and regulatory guidelines.

  • Support literature monitoring, regulatory database searches, and documentation as required.

  • Ensure compliance with global PV standards, internal SOPs, and data quality expectations.


Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of pharmacovigilance processes and drug safety surveillance

  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office and pharmacovigilance databases

  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment

  • Problem-solving and time management abilities

  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts


Requirements

  • Qualification: Bachelor of Pharmacy

  • Experience: 1–3 Years (Freshers with strong PV knowledge may also apply)

  • Location: Bengaluru
