About the Role

Accenture is seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacovigilance Services Associate to support pharmacovigilance operations and global drug safety surveillance activities. This role is part of the Life Sciences R&D vertical, contributing to clinical, pharmacovigilance, and regulatory operations for leading biopharma organizations worldwide.

The position involves case processing, safety data management, MedDRA coding, regulatory submissions, and follow-up activities in alignment with global regulatory standards and client requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the affiliate mailbox and ensure accurate reconciliation of safety reports.

  • Perform case identification, data entry, MedDRA coding, processing, and submission of ICSRs according to client-specific guidelines.

  • Conduct written follow-up activities for both serious and non-serious adverse event cases.

  • Ensure compliance with global pharmacovigilance regulations and safety database requirements.

  • Work closely with internal teams and supervisors on assigned tasks within defined SOPs and guidelines.

  • Resolve routine operational issues using established procedures.

  • Contribute as an individual performer within a team structure.

  • Work in rotational shifts as per project needs.


Qualifications and Experience

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm).

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Pharmacovigilance Operations or Drug Safety Surveillance.

Preferred Skills

  • Understanding of pharmacovigilance processes, regulatory requirements, and ICSR lifecycle.

  • Familiarity with MedDRA terminology and safety database systems.

  • Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and data integrity.

  • Ability to follow structured workflows and standard operating procedures.

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work in rotational shifts.
