About the Role
Accenture is seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacovigilance Services Associate to support pharmacovigilance operations and global drug safety surveillance activities. This role is part of the Life Sciences R&D vertical, contributing to clinical, pharmacovigilance, and regulatory operations for leading biopharma organizations worldwide.
The position involves case processing, safety data management, MedDRA coding, regulatory submissions, and follow-up activities in alignment with global regulatory standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the affiliate mailbox and ensure accurate reconciliation of safety reports.
Perform case identification, data entry, MedDRA coding, processing, and submission of ICSRs according to client-specific guidelines.
Conduct written follow-up activities for both serious and non-serious adverse event cases.
Ensure compliance with global pharmacovigilance regulations and safety database requirements.
Work closely with internal teams and supervisors on assigned tasks within defined SOPs and guidelines.
Resolve routine operational issues using established procedures.
Contribute as an individual performer within a team structure.
Work in rotational shifts as per project needs.
Qualifications and Experience
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm).
1 to 3 years of experience in Pharmacovigilance Operations or Drug Safety Surveillance.
Preferred Skills
Understanding of pharmacovigilance processes, regulatory requirements, and ICSR lifecycle.
Familiarity with MedDRA terminology and safety database systems.
Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and data integrity.
Ability to follow structured workflows and standard operating procedures.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work in rotational shifts.
