Role Overview:
As a Pharmacovigilance Services Analyst at Accenture, you will be part of our Life Sciences R&D vertical, supporting clients in the biopharma sector. You will contribute to pharmacovigilance efforts, including case identification, data entry, MedDRA coding, case processing, and follow-ups for Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs). You will be responsible for managing the Affiliate Mailbox, reconciling reports, and performing written follow-up for both serious and non-serious cases. This role requires adhering to global regulatory requirements and client guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform analysis and solve lower-complexity problems within pharmacovigilance services.
  • Manage the Affiliate Mailbox and ensure proper reconciliation of reports.
  • Handle case identification, data entry, MedDRA coding, and case processing for ICSRs.
  • Perform follow-ups for both serious and non-serious cases per client and regulatory guidelines.
  • Work independently with moderate supervision and detailed instructions on new assignments.
  • Collaborate primarily with peers within Accenture, with limited exposure to clients and Accenture management.
  • Make decisions that impact your work and potentially the work of others in your team.
  • Participate as an individual contributor, with a focused scope of work within a team.
  • This role may require working in rotational shifts.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A Bachelor of Pharmacy degree.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in pharmacovigilance or related fields.
  • Knowledge of pharmacovigilance processes, including ICSRs and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to client guidelines and global regulatory standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under moderate supervision with clear instructions.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
