Job Description: Pharmacovigilance Physician

Overview:

The Pharmacovigilance Physician position at PrimeVigilance offers Medical Doctors the opportunity to start and advance their career in Drug Safety. Our Pharmacovigilance Physician team operates across North America, Europe, and Asia.

Key Accountabilities:

Case Review: Assess and approve post-marketing Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) and Serious Adverse Event (SAE) reports from clinical trials, including coding and evaluating seriousness, expectedness, and causality.
Documentation: Write Company comments, formulate follow-up questions, and analyze similar events. Complete all required supporting documentation, such as trackers.
Support: Assist the Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance (if not medically qualified) in understanding and evaluating safety issues.
Reporting: Contribute to the review and development of periodic reports.
Literature Review: Review literature screening strategies and articles to identify ICSRs/SAEs related to relevant Medicinal Products or other safety-related findings.

Qualifications:

Education: MD Qualification.
Skills: Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks efficiently.
Collaboration: Experience working cross-culturally and cross-functionally, with a strong emphasis on teamwork.
Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Language Proficiency: Advanced English skills (both verbal and written) at B2 level or higher.
Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
