Position Purpose

The Pharmacovigilance Coordinator will support the safety and regulatory activities of clients by managing case intake, processing reports, and ensuring accurate data entry into safety databases.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned mailboxes, triage client communications, inbound reports, and internal case processing.

  • Conduct duplicate searches and perform initial case book-in.

  • Screen and redact source documents for PHI as per company procedures.

  • Facilitate literature search activities as required.

  • Perform initial triage of regulatory authority database searches.

  • Send draft safety reports to clients for review.

  • Enter basic patient, adverse event, and suspect drug data into safety databases.

  • Perform full data entry into safety databases, as trained and applicable.

  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.


Required Skills and Competencies

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Proficient in computer usage and keyboarding skills.

  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.


Education and Experience

  • Education: Post-secondary education.

  • Experience: Preferred: 1 year of industry experience.
