Pharmacovigilance Associate – Remote (Colombia) | ICON Plc

Job Summary:

ICON Plc, a global leader in clinical research and healthcare intelligence, is hiring a Pharmacovigilance Associate for a remote role based in Colombia. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about drug safety and regulatory compliance. You will play a crucial role in ensuring pharmaceutical product safety by managing adverse event data and contributing to global pharmacovigilance operations in a collaborative and innovative environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, review, and manage adverse event reports in compliance with global regulatory standards

  • Perform signal detection and risk assessment to identify safety trends

  • Support safety-related inquiries, investigations, and case follow-ups

  • Contribute to safety report generation and regulatory submissions

  • Maintain current knowledge of pharmacovigilance regulations and best practices

  • Collaborate with cross-functional clinical and safety teams globally


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)

  • Prior experience in pharmacovigilance, drug safety, or clinical safety roles

  • Familiarity with adverse event case processing and signal detection methodologies

  • Strong knowledge of pharmacovigilance regulations (GVP, ICH)

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and documentation skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

  • Experience in clinical research organizations or pharmaceutical environments is advantageous
