Job Summary

ICON Plc, a global leader in healthcare intelligence and clinical research, is hiring a Pharmacovigilance Associate for a full-time remote position in Colombia. This role focuses on ensuring pharmaceutical product safety by managing adverse event data and contributing to global drug safety and regulatory processes. Ideal for life sciences graduates with pharmacovigilance or clinical safety experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and review adverse event reports, ensuring timely and accurate reporting per global regulatory guidelines.

  • Conduct signal detection and risk assessment to identify potential product safety concerns.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve safety-related inquiries and investigations.

  • Maintain current knowledge of global pharmacovigilance regulations and industry best practices.

  • Assist in the preparation of comprehensive safety reports and regulatory submissions.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field (Advanced degree preferred).

  • Prior experience in pharmacovigilance, drug safety, or a clinical research setting.

  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with keen attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective teamwork.

  • Commitment to maintaining high standards in quality, compliance, and patient safety.
