Position Overview

The Pharmacovigilance Associate will play a critical role in ensuring the ongoing safety monitoring of pharmaceutical products throughout their lifecycle. This position supports adverse event case processing, safety signal evaluation, regulatory reporting, and cross-functional safety activities in compliance with global pharmacovigilance regulations. The role is fully remote and ideal for professionals seeking global exposure in drug safety operations.


Key Responsibilities

Drug Safety and Case Management

  • Collect, review, and process adverse event reports in compliance with global regulatory requirements and timelines

  • Ensure accurate documentation, data entry, and quality review of Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs)

  • Support the preparation and submission of aggregate safety reports and regulatory filings

Signal Detection and Risk Management

  • Participate in signal detection, safety trend analysis, and risk assessment activities

  • Assist in safety evaluations, investigations, and responses to safety-related inquiries

Regulatory Compliance and Collaboration

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global pharmacovigilance regulations, including ICH, GVP, and local authority requirements

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support safety surveillance and compliance activities

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within pharmacovigilance operations


Required Qualifications and Experience

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Nursing, or a related discipline

  • Advanced degree is an advantage

Experience:

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in pharmacovigilance, drug safety, or a related clinical research or pharmaceutical environment

Core Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of adverse event reporting and pharmacovigilance processes

  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and data review skills

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with global teams

  • Commitment to quality, compliance, and patient safety
