Job Summary
Stanton Drug is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for receiving incoming prescriptions, reviewing them for accuracy, and dispensing the correct medication and dosage. You will also interact with customers, helping them understand their medications, possible side effects, and proper storage instructions. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent communication skills, and be knowledgeable about pharmaceutical best practices.
Responsibilities
Review incoming prescriptions for accuracy, suitability for the patient, and potential drug interactions.
Provide patients with information regarding side effects, proper dosage, storage requirements, and interactions with other medications.
Maintain accurate patient records and pharmacy files.
Conduct regular inventory checks, accept new stock, and ensure it is categorized appropriately.
Ensure the pharmacy maintains a clean, safe, and organized environment.
Qualifications
Must hold a valid state pharmacist license.
Strong customer service skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and shift priorities as needed.
