Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all duties in accordance with client guidelines and requirements.
  • Assist with various tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations and meet patient/customer needs.
  • Stay current on medication information, healthcare concepts, and all relevant regulations for retail and long-term care pharmacy.
  • Interpret and clarify new and refill order requests to ensure appropriateness and patient safety.
  • Prepare and verify accurate medication orders.
  • Ensure timely and complete delivery of medication orders to the correct patients.
  • Provide support and suggestions for safe and effective medication therapy.
  • Complete all necessary documentation, including incident reports and controlled substances sheets.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Doctorate in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
  • Experience with pharmacy data entry systems.
  • Current pharmacy licensure in the state of employment.
