Job Overview

Roche is hiring an experienced Patient Journey Partner – Ophthalmology for its Mumbai location. This strategic healthcare role focuses on improving patient outcomes by collaborating with healthcare stakeholders, therapy area experts, hospitals, and healthcare ecosystems to accelerate patient access to innovative ophthalmology treatments.

This is not a traditional sales or medical affairs role. Instead, it is a highly collaborative, patient-centric ecosystem role designed to bridge healthcare innovation with real-world patient journey needs.

Professionals with expertise in Retina, Anti-VEGF therapies, patient access programs, stakeholder management, and healthcare partnerships are strongly encouraged to apply.


Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Stakeholder Management

  • Manage relationships with top Therapy Area Experts and key healthcare stakeholders

  • Understand patient journey challenges, motivators, and ecosystem barriers

  • Build strategic collaborations to improve treatment accessibility and patient outcomes

Account Strategy & Execution

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for major public and private healthcare accounts across the state

  • Develop and execute account-specific strategies aligned with regional healthcare objectives

  • Support state teams in implementing patient-centric healthcare initiatives effectively

Healthcare Ecosystem Collaboration

  • Collaborate with healthcare institutions, policymakers, specialists, and key decision-makers

  • Co-create innovative healthcare solutions that enhance access to Roche therapies

  • Drive integrated field-level collaboration for improved patient care pathways

Access & Innovation Enablement

  • Identify business and healthcare delivery gaps within key accounts

  • Implement strategic initiatives that increase access to Roche ophthalmology innovations

  • Contribute to improving treatment adoption and healthcare decision-making processes


Required Qualifications

  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Science, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related healthcare disciplines

  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, patient services, or allied sectors

  • At least 4+ years of experience in Patient Services, Patient Access, Healthcare Partnerships, or related functions

  • Strong understanding of Retina and/or Anti-VEGF therapy areas preferred

  • Excellent stakeholder management, networking, collaboration, and alliance-building skills

  • Strong process orientation and strategic execution capabilities
