Role Overview:
The Modular Content Specialist will manage modular content workflows within Veeva, ensuring proper classification, governance, and compliance of digital assets. This role involves deconstructing core brand materials into reusable components, tagging and classifying content, managing metadata, and supporting training to ensure seamless adoption of modular content practices across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Modular Content Management:

  • Identify, select, and modularize core brand assets for reuse.

  • Extract and upload reusable content components into Veeva Vault.

  • Apply and maintain metadata fields and taxonomy for asset classification.

  • Tag key messages accurately to enable proper selection in Veeva picklists.

  • Verify correct configuration of classifications and metadata in Veeva.

Claims & Compliance:

  • Ensure all claims are accurately tagged and linked to source assets and references.

  • Perform compliance checks to ensure claims and assets are approved and uploaded correctly.

Asset Review & Governance:

  • Conduct final validations to confirm all approved assets are accurately uploaded in Veeva DAM.

  • Maintain documentation and SOPs for modular content workflows.

Training & Documentation:

  • Develop training materials and provide guidance on modular content best practices.

  • Conduct workshops and support teams to ensure smooth adoption of modular content processes.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Life Sciences, or a related field.

  • 6–7 years of experience in content management, digital asset management, or modular content workflows, preferably in a pharmaceutical or healthcare advertising environment.

  • Strong understanding of MLR processes, metadata, taxonomy, and digital asset governance.

  • Hands-on experience with Veeva Vault or similar content management systems.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and compliance-focused skills.

  • Experience creating training materials and leading stakeholder workshops.
