Job Summary

Join Syneos Health’s dynamic communications and marketing team, where you will help drive the narrative of a global biopharmaceutical leader. As a Manager, Communications (Social Media), you will work closely with Syneos Health leaders and subject matter experts to craft compelling content and elevate our brand through paid, earned, and owned media, with a strong focus on social media strategies.

Reporting to the Director of External Communications, this role is key to executing communication strategies that align with business goals and amplify our position within the healthcare industry.

Job Responsibilities

External Communications Strategy: Develop and execute communications strategies that align with Syneos Health’s priorities and business goals.
Social Media Leadership: Lead and manage the company’s social media strategy across platforms, utilizing analytic tools to grow and enhance reach. Expand our social advocacy program for improved audience engagement.
Content Creation & Engagement: Produce diverse content, including social posts, executive talking points, blog posts, media pitches, press releases, infographics, and videos to engage customers and media.
Advisory Role: Provide guidance to internal business partners on communication plans supporting various business initiatives.
Performance Measurement: Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of communications strategies, ensuring alignment with business outcomes.
Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about the healthcare, drug development, and outsourcing industries to provide relevant insights and shape communication efforts.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

Communication Expertise: Excellent communication skills, with a deep understanding of the multi-channel environment and ability to manage PR agencies and creative partners.
Social Media Proficiency: Strong experience in social media strategies, particularly with LinkedIn, and a passion for content generation.
Writing Skills: Exceptional writing ability, with a flexible tone to adapt messages for different audiences.
Storytelling: Ability to discover and tell compelling stories through various media forms.
Business Acumen: Strategic thinker with strong business insight.
Collaboration: Highly collaborative, with a flexible approach to helping colleagues across teams.
Education & Experience: A BA/BS in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field, with 5-7 years of relevant experience. Equivalent experience may also be considered.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams). Familiarity with design tools is a plus.
Organizational Skills: Attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements:

Ability to maintain the highest corporate standards of image presentation.
Up to 10% travel.

Compensation & Benefits

Syneos Health offers a competitive salary, with an annual base salary range between $71,820 and $139,600, based on qualifications and experience. Other benefits include health coverage (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) matching, employee stock purchase plans, performance-based bonuses, and flexible paid time off (PTO).
