Position Overview
The Medical Writer II (Funding e-Request) will manage request management systems, maintain external funding databases, perform quality control (QC) checks on IIS requests, and develop high-quality documentation for clinical and healthcare projects. This role requires a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive professional with strong communication skills who can work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Track, manage, and maintain request management systems to ensure accurate processing of funding requests.
Maintain and update external funding databases and client learning platforms for consistency.
Perform QC checks on IIS requests and other submissions to ensure accuracy.
Develop and update resource tracking sheets, project documentation, and work instructions.
Provide input to project plans and support project execution, ensuring deadlines are met.
Communicate project progress, potential risks, and mitigation strategies to project leads and managers.
Ensure team understanding of client requirements and project scope.
Support team members in project execution and maintain high-quality deliverables.
Review all outputs for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with client expectations.

Experience and Qualifications
3–4 years of experience in medical writing, healthcare, or life sciences domains.
Postgraduate degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, or related field from a recognized institution.
Strong proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce concise and professional documentation.
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within project teams.
Commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate outputs and meeting deadlines.
