🧭 Summary
The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) leads scientific engagement with healthcare professionals and Medical Experts (MEs) to advance evidence-based understanding of Novartis products. The role focuses on implementing clinical and educational strategies, addressing unsolicited medical inquiries, and gathering field insights to inform product strategy and patient access initiatives.

⚙️ Key Responsibilities
🔹 Scientific Engagement
Conduct impactful scientific discussions with healthcare professionals aligned with the medical strategy.
Deliver tailored scientific content through both digital and in-person channels.
Respond to unsolicited medical inquiries with accuracy and compliance.
🔹 Evidence Generation & Insights
Identify data gaps and opportunities for real-world evidence and precision medicine initiatives.
Collect and share field insights to inform product strategy, evidence generation, and medical planning.
🔹 Clinical Support
Support clinical trial execution, including site identification, education, and engagement.
Partner with investigators and study sites to ensure successful trial conduct.
🔹 Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with cross-functional teams (medical, regulatory, access, commercial) to enhance patient outcomes.
Support initiatives that improve patient access, disease awareness, and treatment optimization.
🔹 Digital Excellence
Apply digital and IT solutions to optimize stakeholder engagement, insight collection, and medical communication.
🎓 Role Requirements
Essential Qualifications
Advanced degree in Health or Life Sciences (PharmD, PhD, MD preferred).
2–3 years of experience in a medical function within a therapeutic area.
Strong knowledge of healthcare systems, research procedures, and industry guidelines.
Proven ability to leverage digital tools for engagement and insight generation.
Excellent scientific presentation and communication skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience in a medical affairs role within a pharmaceutical company.
Deep understanding of pharma industry guidelines and compliance standards.
Proficiency in digital platforms for stakeholder engagement and reporting.
