Role Overview

Syneos Health is seeking a Medical Writer II with 3–4 years of experience in the healthcare or life sciences domain. The role focuses on managing funding e-requests, maintaining external funding databases, performing quality checks, and preparing high-quality documentation for internal and client use.

This position is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, technologically proficient, and capable of working independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Track, manage, and process request management systems and external funding databases efficiently.

  • Conduct quality control (QC) checks on IIS requests and ensure accurate processing within designated platforms.

  • Maintain and update work instructions, resource tracking sheets, and project status updates.

  • Ensure the team understands client requirements and provides accurate information to execute project tasks.

  • Identify potential risks to project delivery, propose resolutions, and escalate issues to Project Managers as needed.

  • Support team members in executing project responsibilities and provide guidance where necessary.

  • Review deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with client expectations before submission.

  • Communicate project value effectively to clients and maintain strong professional relationships.

  • Work autonomously while actively collaborating with internal teams to achieve project milestones.

  • Demonstrate commitment to high-quality outputs, client satisfaction, and adherence to company values.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Postgraduate degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, or related discipline from a reputed institution.

  • 3–4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences domain.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to prepare clear, concise documentation.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality outputs.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within teams and across departments.
