Job Overview
CACTUS Life Sciences is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Reviewer to ensure the scientific accuracy, quality, and regulatory compliance of medical and scientific content. This role involves reviewing manuscripts, clinical documents, and educational materials to verify data integrity, identify inconsistencies, and enhance overall content quality. The position offers an opportunity to work in a remote-first environment while contributing to global medical communication projects across the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Scientific and Medical Content Review
Evaluate manuscripts, posters, slide decks, medical literature, and educational materials for scientific accuracy and data integrity.
Verify content developed by medical writers against annotated references, clinical study reports (CSRs), and source data.
Identify discrepancies within text, figures, tables, and supplementary materials, and recommend improvements.
Detect gaps in scientific logic, missing references, and inconsistencies in documentation.

Quality Control and Compliance
Ensure documents comply with style guides, regulatory requirements, and publishing standards.
Review content for grammar, syntax, structure, and clarity.
Maintain responsibility for the quality and accuracy of reviewed documents and projects.
Prepare and deliver quality control reports and identify quality trends.

Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration
Communicate review findings effectively with clients, medical writers, and project teams.
Collaborate with authors, faculty, vendors, and internal teams to resolve content issues.
Ensure timely completion and delivery of assigned projects.

Continuous Learning and Development
Participate in training programs, workshops, and seminars to enhance domain knowledge and professional skills.
Contribute to organizational quality and process improvement initiatives.

Education Requirements
Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Clinical Research, Medical Sciences, or a related discipline.
Equivalent industry experience in medical writing, research, or scientific review may be considered.

Experience Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in medical writing, medical review, or scientific content quality control.
Fresh graduates with strong knowledge of clinical research, medical publications, or scientific documentation may also be considered.
