Role Overview:

As a Medical Physician Specialist I, you will provide essential medical safety expertise to sponsors of drugs, devices, and combination products, focusing on post-marketing activities. You will be responsible for reviewing medical cases, assessing adverse events, and ensuring quality control and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct primary medical review of cases, including assessments of seriousness, causality, adverse event coding, and narrative review.
  • Update and document daily case data, maintaining appropriate tracking and workflow management tools.
  • Assume full responsibility for assigned deliverables, ensuring compliance with quality, productivity, and SLAs.
  • Provide guidance and training to the case processing team after a year of tenure.
  • Perform aggregate and signal analysis to support single case processing.
  • Maintain a culture of high customer service and excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in medical science, MD, DO, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in clinical practice, with a solid understanding of medical sciences, drug treatments, and regulatory requirements for clinical research.
  • Language Skills: English proficiency at ILR level 3+ speaking and 4+ reading/writing.
