About the Role

The Medical Manager – Oncology (North India) is responsible for leading Medical Affairs activities across the assigned region, ensuring strong scientific engagement, alignment with global and local strategies, and impactful collaboration with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). This is an individual contributor role focused on strengthening scientific integrity, supporting oncology education, and elevating medical insights for strategic decision-making.

The position supports cutting-edge advancements across oncology therapeutic areas and contributes to the organization’s mission of enhancing patient care through evidence-based medical leadership.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all Medical Affairs initiatives within the assigned oncology territory, ensuring compliance with scientific and ethical standards.

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with oncologists, KOLs, and healthcare stakeholders across multiple tumor types.

  • Collect, consolidate, and communicate real-world medical insights, trends, and unmet needs from the field.

  • Implement Medical Affairs Strategic Plans in alignment with global and regional priorities.

  • Respond to medical queries from healthcare professionals (HCPs) with accurate and evidence-based information.

  • Act as a liaison for Investigator-Sponsored Studies (ISS), supporting investigators with scientific guidance.

  • Train healthcare professionals and contracted medical speakers as required.

  • Contribute to the digital transformation of medical communication and scientific engagement.


Experience & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Educational Qualification: MD Pharmacology, MBBS, MDS, BDS, PhD, Immunology, or equivalent medical/scientific degree.

  • Experience: 4–6 years of Medical Affairs experience, preferably across multiple therapeutic areas with strong exposure to Oncology.

Preferred / Maximum Requirements

  • Expertise in oncology disease management across tumor types including Head & Neck, Colorectal, Lung, Renal Cell, and Urothelial cancers.

  • Ability to develop and execute Medical Key Thought Leader (KTL) development plans.

  • Experience driving educational and scientific initiatives with oncology specialists.

  • Strong understanding of digital tools, data platforms, and technology-led medical communication strategies.

  • Proven capability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and execute region-specific medical strategies.
