Job Summary:

IQVIA, the global leader in clinical research and healthcare data solutions, is hiring a Medical Information Specialist (English & French) for its Lifecycle Safety team in Zagreb. This role focuses on medical information services and patient safety support by managing adverse event reports, product complaints, and medical inquiries from healthcare professionals and consumers across various therapeutic areas. The ideal candidate must hold a degree in Pharmacy and demonstrate fluency in both English and native-level French.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical information support via phone and email to healthcare professionals and consumers.

  • Manage safety and product quality data, including triage, review, and processing in lifecycle safety databases.

  • Perform medical coding, descriptive narrative writing, query generation, quality control checks, and reconciliation activities.

  • Support case closure and translation coordination.

  • Mentor and train junior staff and contribute to positive team collaboration.

  • Identify operational issues and communicate solutions to Project Managers.

  • Engage in ongoing training and process improvement initiatives across Lifecycle Safety services.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences (Pharmacy degree mandatory).

  • Fluency in English (minimum C1) and native-level French.

  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to high-quality standards.

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams.

  • Openness to learning and developing new skills in pharmacovigilance and lifecycle safety.
