Medical Content Development Manager – Remote (EU/UK)

Job Summary

EVERSANA is seeking a Medical Content Development Manager with proven experience in medical information and medical writing to lead global content initiatives. This remote role involves developing and managing high-quality, scientifically accurate response documents, FAQs, slide decks, abstracts, and training materials for pharmaceutical clients across multiple therapeutic areas. The position requires deep understanding of the MLR review process, literature search tools, and reference management platforms. Be part of a growing, diverse team driving healthcare communication excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead medical content development for Medical Affairs, Medical Information, and Communications

  • Draft SRDs, FAQs, slide sets, abstracts, posters, and education/training materials

  • Manage the end-to-end MLR review process and document strategy with internal and client teams

  • Use platforms like Veeva Vault PromoMats / MedComms to manage content and references

  • Participate in client meetings, strategy sessions, and cross-functional content reviews

  • Support creation of SOPs, style guides, templates, and content review workflows

  • Stay updated with best practices in medical information and content compliance

  • Collaborate with global writing, creative, and project teams across therapeutic areas

  • Provide mentoring and direction to medical writers and content developers


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Doctorate or Master’s in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or related fields

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in pharma or medical communications

  • Experience in medical content development for new launches and existing products

  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and MLR best practices

  • Proficient in literature search tools (PubMed, Ovid, Embase)

  • Skilled in using citation/reference tools (EndNote, Mendeley, etc.)

  • Expertise in MS Office, Acrobat, and digital documentation platforms

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); fluency in additional European language(s) a plus

  • Strong project and time management skills with a results-driven mindset

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
