Job Description

The Medical Information team plays a crucial role in supporting the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, medical device, and digital therapeutic products. We provide timely, scientifically balanced, and evidence-based information in response to unsolicited requests from healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers, and payers.

A key responsibility of this role is the development and management of impactful medical response documents. You will be involved in client engagements focused on medical content development.

This position requires a strong background in medical information and content creation, as well as excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

This role can be based in the UK, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Poland, Germany, or Portugal. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the European Union/United Kingdom.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Our team is committed to delivering outstanding business results, achieved through collaborative efforts:

  • Support the Global Medical Information and Medical Content Development Team in content-related engagements for clients.
  • Create medical and scientific content related to Medical Affairs and Medical Communications, including Scientific Response Documents (SRDs), FAQs, slide sets, abstracts, training materials, and more.
  • Lead the document development process, from gathering materials to facilitating reviews at medical, legal, and regulatory (MLR) meetings.
  • Manage document uploads and references using EVERSANA or client-provided technology platforms (e.g., Veeva PromoMats).
  • Conduct scientific data fact-checking to support medical reviewers.
  • Collaborate with the Global Medical Information/Medical Content Development Team to strategize and execute assigned projects effectively.
  • Provide guidance and work closely with other medical writers and content developers to ensure project success.
  • Participate in key client meetings as needed.
  • Assist in creating and updating SOPs, templates, style guides, and other documentation.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and support leadership in implementing new technologies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with other medical writers and creative teams across EVERSANA.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Be available for business travel (up to 10-15%).

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Education: Doctorate or Master of Science (MSc) in Life Sciences or healthcare, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the pharmaceutical industry or Medical Information/Communications. Experience in developing global medical materials (e.g., SRDs, FAQs).
  • Skills: Exceptional written and oral communication skills; ability to establish credibility with diverse audiences; proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management tools.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices related to Medical Information and Medical Affairs.
  • Project Management: Proven track record of delivering results within timelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: Pharm.D., Pharm.M., MD, or PhD preferred; relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences also considered.
  • Experience: Background in Medical Information, Medical Writing, and managing content for new product launches across multiple therapeutic areas.
  • Languages: Fluency in English and one or more European languages (B2, C1, or C2 level).
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and interpret complex scientific data.
  • Client Management: Proficient in managing client relationships and projects effectively.
