📌 Job Overview

Fortrea is hiring a Medical Contact Center Assistant for a dynamic remote role in a global CRO environment.
Candidates must have a healthcare educational background, be fluent in English and French (C1 level), and be willing to work 3 PM – 12 AM (CET).


🧪 Key Responsibilities

Medical Information & Query Handling

  • Respond to:

    • Medical information queries

    • Product quality complaints

    • General inquiries

  • Handle communication via:

    • Telephone

    • Email

    • Fax

    • Other channels as required

Pharmacovigilance (PV) Support

  • Receive, document, and report Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs) within regulatory and SOP-defined timelines.

Operational Support & Coordination

  • Track various types of operational data and metrics.

  • Perform quality checks (QC) for assigned process steps.

  • Support data reconciliation across multiple sources.

  • Assist in assigned tasks, including training-related responsibilities.

Other Responsibilities

  • Perform all additional duties as assigned by management.


🎓 Qualifications (Minimum Required)

Education + Experience (any one):

  • Non-degree + 3–4 years relevant experience
    (or 1 year safety experience)

  • Associate degree + 2–3 years relevant experience
    (or 1 year safety experience)

  • BS/BA degree

  • MA/MS/PharmD

  • Bachelor's or Master’s in:

    • Pharmacy

    • Life Sciences

    • Medical Sciences

    • Related fields

Fortrea may consider equivalent relevant experience in place of formal education.

Definition of Experience

  • Safety experience includes:
    AE/SAE processing, narrative writing, queries, working in safety databases, regulatory submission experience.

  • Relevant experience includes:
    Roles in:

    • Medical Affairs

    • Clinical Data Entry / Data Management

    • Clinical Monitoring

    • Regulatory Affairs

    • Quality Assurance

    • Pharmaceutical/Biotech/CRO industry

Language Requirement

  • French proficiency (C1 or higher) is mandatory.


💼 Skills & Experience (Minimum Required)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Good understanding of:

    • Regulatory requirements

    • Good Pharmacovigilance Practices (GVP)

    • ICH-GCP guidelines

  • Proficiency in MS Office.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently with moderate supervision.

  • Strong teamwork skills.
