Job Summary

This remote opportunity is ideal for professionals with more than five years of experience in clinical trial medical coding, particularly using MedDRA, WHODD, and Medidata Rave. The role involves working across global clinical trial projects in a dynamic, collaborative environment focused on innovation and quality in data coding.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform medical coding of clinical trial data using MedDRA and WHODD in alignment with SOPs and departmental guidelines.

  • Generate data queries to clarify discrepancies and ensure coding consistency.

  • Support data coding consistency reviews and SAE reconciliation activities.

  • Collaborate with Clinical, Data Management, and Medical Monitoring teams.

  • Conduct dictionary version upgrades and participate in coding setup activities.

  • Ensure timely processing of data within specified project timelines.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a medical coder in clinical trials.

  • Proficiency with MedDRA and WHODD dictionaries.

  • Experience with ATC coding and Medidata Rave.

  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacovigilance, and data handling.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional remote team.
