Role Overview

We are seeking a Medical Writer II with 3–4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare domain, capable of managing funding e-request systems, tracking external funding databases, and generating high-quality documents. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.

This position offers exposure to project planning, client database management, and cross-functional collaboration, providing a platform for career growth within Syneos Health’s service lines.


Key Responsibilities

  • Track, process, and maintain request management systems and external funding databases efficiently.

  • Perform quality checks (QC) on IIS requests and ensure accurate processing within client platforms.

  • Prepare, review, and update work instructions, resource tracking sheets, and project status updates.

  • Ensure alignment of team activities with client requirements and provide clarifications as needed.

  • Support project execution by providing guidance, sharing updates, and assisting team members.

  • Identify risks to project delivery and propose actionable solutions to Project Managers.

  • Maintain well-organized documentation and ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs.

  • Communicate project value clearly to clients and maintain strong working relationships.

  • Demonstrate autonomy while effectively collaborating within cross-functional teams.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Postgraduate degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, or related discipline from a reputed institution.

  • 3–4 years of experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences domain.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to create clear and concise documentation.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality deliverables and process compliance.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently when required.
