Role Overview:
The Medical Advisor, Vaccines provides strategic and tactical medical support for the ethical promotion of assigned vaccine products. This includes guiding brand plans, supporting clinical research, delivering scientific and promotional materials, training sales teams, engaging with healthcare professionals (HCPs), and ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic & Operational Support

  • Contribute to brand/medical plans and marketing strategies for assigned products.

  • Review and approve promotional, training, and Continuing Medical Education (CME) materials in compliance with SOPs and industry codes.

  • Participate in educational and promotional events, including advisory boards, symposia, and institutional presentations.

Clinical Research

  • Develop, review, and approve protocols, informed consent forms, and supporting documents for Phase IV, PMS, observational, and pharmacoeconomic studies.

  • Review study data, prepare final reports, and manage publication plans for locally sponsored studies.

Medical Information

  • Provide timely, accurate, and balanced medical information to internal teams and external stakeholders.

Sales Force Training

  • Deliver medical training for new hires and refresher sessions for existing sales staff.

  • Prepare and conduct launch training for new products.

New Product Planning & Development

  • Support early market preparation, stakeholder mapping, and pre-commercialization activities.

  • Assist with evaluation of new commercial opportunities, including licensing and co-promotion.

Regulatory Support

  • Provide medical expertise for product registration, labeling, defense of marketed products, and adverse event reporting.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • MBBS, BDS, MD, MS, MDS, or Ph.D. from a recognized institution.

  • Minimum 2 years in the pharmaceutical industry OR 3+ years of relevant clinical practice/research experience.

  • Knowledge of drug development, commercialization, clinical pharmacology, medical statistics, and therapeutic area expertise.

  • Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Work Location Assignment: On Premise

Estimated Salary: ₹40–50 LPA (Based on senior medical affairs roles in the Indian pharmaceutical industry)
