🎯 Job Overview:
The Manufacturing Specialist – Single-Use Systems (SUS) acts as a technical advisor and project manager for the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of stainless steel bioreactors and single-use systems (SUS).
You’ll provide ongoing technical support, lead process improvement initiatives, and ensure efficient integration of new technologies.
🧭 Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Technical & Project Management
Provide expert support for stainless steel bioreactors (SUB) and SUS implementation.
Lead conceptual design studies and feasibility studies.
Establish user requirements, functional specifications, and conduct commissioning & qualification.
Execute capital projects related to SUS.
Perform risk assessments and ensure contamination prevention.
🔹 Training & Documentation
Train shopfloor teams and facilitate knowledge transfer from SMEs.
Build and maintain work instructions, troubleshooting guides, and equipment documentation.
🔹 Process Optimization
Perform data analysis for process optimization.
Define and monitor KPIs to drive SUS adoption.
Apply emerging technologies and digital solutions to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
🔹 Sustainability
Develop and implement sustainability strategies for SUS component disposal or recycling.
🔹 Compliance & Quality
Serve as an SME during audits and inspections.
Ensure regulatory and quality compliance in all operations.
👩🔬 Qualifications:
🎓 Education
Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Engineering or Life Sciences).
💼 Experience
3–5 years of relevant experience.
1–2 years of experience with single-use bioreactors (SUB/SUS).
🧠 Skills & Competencies:
Data-driven problem solving and decision making.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Ability to lead change management and support digital transformation.
Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and data visualization tools.
Knowledge of process automation and cost management.
