Job Summary:

Pfizer is seeking a Manager – Senior Central Testing Analyst to join its Clinical Data Sciences (CDS) team in Chennai. This pivotal role is responsible for delivering User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and ensuring the quality and timely execution of tasks related to clinical data management, database build, and validation of external data sources. Ideal for experienced professionals from CROs or pharmaceutical companies, this hybrid position offers a dynamic opportunity to lead UAT operations in one of the world’s most innovative healthcare companies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver UAT activities for CRF design, eData processing, edit check validation, and database building.

  • Assign and allocate work across UAT analysts and manage operational timelines.

  • Participate in study meetings, CDS forums, and ensure testing documentation is reviewed and approved.

  • Oversee resource forecasting, performance evaluation, and operational metrics tracking.

  • Conduct risk assessments, root cause analyses, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).

  • Mentor junior UAT analysts and support knowledge development across the CDS group.

  • Lead or support innovation, automation, and process improvement projects in UAT operations.

  • Ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory standards throughout testing and data validation processes.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences or Technology (Master’s preferred).

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Clinical Data Management in pharma or CRO settings.

  • Proven hands-on experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) including writing and executing test cases.

  • Strong understanding of CRF design, database build, edit checks, and data validation principles.

  • Familiarity with healthcare regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, Health Canada).

  • Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and related documentation.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and technical data systems.

  • Excellent communication skills; ability to manage teams and work collaboratively.

  • Project management and people management experience preferred.
