Job Summary

ICON plc, a global leader in clinical research and healthcare intelligence, is hiring a Manager, Pharmacovigilance to lead a high-performing global Drug Safety team. This remote role is ideal for experienced PV professionals with strong knowledge of Argus, GVP, ICH-GCP, and CFR regulations, ready to ensure the highest standards of case processing, compliance, and quality oversight. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead DSA teams responsible for adverse event (AE) and drug experience case management.

  • Oversee literature review, aggregate reporting, and risk management processes.

  • Ensure compliance with pharmacovigilance regulations and internal SOPs.

  • Support audits, CAPAs, and inspection-readiness activities.

  • Drive efficiency through SOP development and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Manage resource planning, succession, performance development, and training.

  • Serve as PV liaison across business partners and intradepartmental teams.

  • Ensure compliance with safety data reconciliation and escalate issues as needed.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, nursing, or pharmacy (required).

  • Minimum 6 years of pharmacovigilance experience; 1–2 years in a team leadership role.

  • Expertise in Argus Safety Database.

  • Strong knowledge of GVP, ICH-GCP, and CFR regulations.

  • Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Willingness to travel domestically or internationally (approx. 10%).
