Manager, Clinical Services – Toxicology & Risk Assessment (Noida & Thane)

Job Summary:
Cencora is hiring a Manager, Clinical Services to lead toxicological and environmental risk assessments for pharmaceutical products. This role requires a strong background in toxicology, pharmacology, impurity qualification, and QSAR evaluations to ensure product safety and regulatory compliance. Candidates with expertise in PDE and OEL derivation, health hazard assessment, and impurity risk evaluation are encouraged to apply.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform toxicological risk assessments of impurities and excipients in pharmaceutical products.

  • Conduct structure-activity relationship (SAR) and QSAR evaluations to identify potential health hazards.

  • Identify structural analogues and develop rationales to support read-across evaluations.

  • Establish safety rationales for impurity specifications in drug products.

  • Conduct environmental risk assessments of pharmaceuticals.

  • Perform health hazard assessments to address product quality concerns and support recall decisions.

  • Derive permitted daily exposure (PDE) and occupational exposure limits (OEL) for compounds.

  • Utilize publicly available literature to support safety and risk evaluations.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master’s in Pharmacology/Pharmacy or PhD in Pharmacology/Toxicology.

  • Strong knowledge of toxicology and pharmacology principles.

  • Experience in PDE and OEL derivation.

  • Proficiency in impurity qualification and risk assessment.

  • Expertise in SAR and QSAR methodologies.

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong analytical and logical thinking with attention to detail.
