Job Overview
We are hiring experienced Management Trainees – Medical Coding (E&M) for our Pune location. This opportunity is designed for seasoned medical coding professionals with strong expertise in Evaluation and Management (E&M) coding who are looking to take the next step into operational leadership and process management within a fast-growing healthcare RCM organization.
The role involves supporting end-to-end medical coding operations, mentoring teams, ensuring SLA compliance, and contributing to performance monitoring through dashboards and KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver assigned coding and operational activities in line with defined client SLAs and quality benchmarks
Support operations through end-to-end planning, workflow optimization, and process documentation review
Assist in training and onboarding of new team members and review overall staff performance
Monitor productivity, quality, and compliance metrics across coding teams
Prepare and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics for management review
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure process efficiency and continuous improvement
Ensure adherence to internal policies, compliance standards, and client-specific guidelines
Experience Required
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Medical Coder
Strong and proven expertise in Evaluation & Management (E&M) coding
Education & Qualification
Graduate in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, or a related discipline
Medical coding certification is preferred
Required Skills & Competencies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Ability to work independently and manage team-level responsibilities
Willingness to work from office and adapt to shift-based schedules as per business requirements
