Job Summary
ICON plc, a global leader in clinical research and healthcare intelligence, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Laboratory Assistant to join our Singapore office. This office-based role is ideal for individuals starting their careers in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector and looking to gain hands-on experience in laboratory operations within a dynamic and compliant environment.
You’ll assist in supporting sample management, maintaining equipment, preparing lab materials, and contributing to the smooth functioning of clinical lab processes that support life-changing medical research.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing lab samples and reagents following standard protocols
Maintain cleanliness and operational efficiency of laboratory equipment
Accurately label, store, and retrieve samples to ensure traceability
Support laboratory personnel in executing various tests and analyses
Follow lab safety and compliance guidelines at all times
Document and track sample data for reporting and analysis
Required Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree in science preferred)
0–2 years of experience in a laboratory or clinical support setting
Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication and teamwork ability
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced lab environment
