About the Role:
Opella is seeking a Junior Scientific Writer to join its Hyderabad team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing high-quality, evidence-based content in line with Opella’s mission to simplify self-care. You’ll contribute to the creation of medical education materials such as abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and slide decks, while collaborating with internal stakeholders and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Development & Strategy:
Assist in the end-to-end creation and approval of scientific content (abstracts, posters, manuscripts, slides).
Support the publication and medical education needs using tools like PromoMats/iEnvision.
Help assess publication needs and assist in implementing annual publication plans.
Maintain therapeutic area expertise and adapt content based on end-user feedback.
Collaboration & Communication:
Engage with medical and scientific teams, HCPs, MSLs, and product managers to tailor deliverables.
Liaise with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely and accurate content delivery.
Support other writers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.
Quality & Timelines:
Deliver high-standard scientific outputs within specified timelines.
Uphold best practices and ensure content aligns with regulatory and brand standards.
Candidate Profile:
Education: Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a Medical Degree.
Experience: Up to 2 years in scientific/medical content writing within healthcare, pharma, or academic settings.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with publication development and scientific content creation
Therapeutic area knowledge and project support exposure
Soft Skills:
Strong communication and stakeholder management
Team collaboration and independent working capabilities
Language: Excellent spoken and written English
